These terms and conditions (hereafter referred to as “Terms”) govern the relationship between Free Boiler Grant (hereafter referred to as “FBG”, “we”, “us” or “our”) and the customer (hereafter referred to as “you” or “your”) who applies for Heating and Insulation grants from Government funded ECO 4 Scheme (hereafter referred to as “the Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Service.
To be eligible for the Service, you must be a resident in the United Kingdom, own or privately rent your home, and be in receipt of certain benefits or have a low household income. You must also meet other eligibility criteria set by the ECO 4 Scheme. We reserve the right to refuse to provide the Service to any person who we deem ineligible.
To apply for the Service, you must provide us with accurate and complete information about yourself and your property. This may include your name, address, contact details, and financial information. We will use this information to determine your eligibility for the Service and to apply for the grants on your behalf. By submitting your application, you confirm that all information provided is true, accurate, and complete.
Grant approval is subject to the discretion of the ECO 4 Scheme. We cannot guarantee that your application will be approved or that the full amount of the grant will be awarded. If your application is successful, you will be notified of the grant amount and any conditions that may apply. You will also be required to sign a contract with the ECO 4 Scheme.
If your grant application is successful, we will arrange for an approved contractor to carry out the work. The work will be carried out in accordance with the ECO 4 Scheme guidelines and to a professional standard. We will use our best efforts to ensure that the work is completed within a reasonable timeframe. However, we cannot guarantee a specific completion date.
The work carried out under the Service is guaranteed by the contractor for a period of 12 months from the date of completion. If any issues arise during this period, you should contact the contractor directly to arrange for repairs or replacement. We are not responsible for any issues arising from the work carried out under the Service.
We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Service or the work carried out under the Service, except where such loss or damage is caused by our negligence or wilful misconduct. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from any third-party services or products that we may recommend or refer you to.
We reserve the right to terminate the Service at any time without notice. We may also terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms or if we believe that you have engaged in fraudulent or illegal activities.
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time without notice. Your continued use of the Service after any such amendments will be deemed as your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wal
